growing up

we are all growing up.

can you imagine that aira is already 18? and charchar will soon follow.

and then i'm next. 18? 18!

in a few months, a lot of changes and adjustments will have to be made. there will be sad goodbyes and happy hellos. why? because we are going to college, that's why!

ok. before i get melodramatic and all about leaving school and stuff, i have good news to share: fair is only a few days away! yehey!

i actually don't know why i'm so excited about it. i mean, i don't know what will happen and i don't really like the bands/singers (sana bamboo na lang!! bamboo!!) who will play, yet, i can't wait. maybe it's because i didn't go to the variety show last year so now i'm excited to see the programs/events/activities/whatever.

i just hope the fair will be fun and worth my anticipation and excitement.

anyway, here are the pics from aira's surprise birthday "party:"

happy birthday aira!!! :)

sights and sounds of divisoria

i've been wanting to go to divisoria for the longest time. i was finally able to go and shop there last december 31. kaming 2 lang ng kuya ko kasi ayaw ng ate and frost cause they were sleepy.

trivia: this was also the day my dad left for the states.
:(

it was better than what i had expected to see. akala ko literally sa streets lang kami mamimili (although sa street/bangketa kami bumili ng fruits for the new year) pero hindi pala. parang mall yung mga pinuntahan namin. actually, it's very similar to st. francis square. puro tiangge pero aircon. at take note: malamig ang aircon ha. :)

at last i was able to go to that famous 168. it was all right. there were actually a lot of buildings/malls full of tiangges that we went to.

i love the sights and sounds of divisoria. people from different status in life were there. may mga foreigners pa nga eh.

pero ang favorite ko talaga is seeing the old buildings of manila. i loooove the feel of old manila. we passed by old buildings and old cinemas in the famous recto and avenida streets. nakapunta na rin ako sa university belt. basta i really love it. yung feeling na parang time nila jose rizal. haha. hindi naman. mga 1950's.

dahil sa mga sights na yun parang gusto ko nang mag-road trip. gusto ko lahat ng famous landmarks/places in manila makita ko kasi naman ang dami ko pang hindi napupuntahan sa manila eh. my kuya had actually brought that topic up before and i think i want to do it. ok kuya let's go!

hello 2006!

happy new year peeps!!

we celebrated the new year with a bang. haha. it was only me, my sister and frost at home with of course janice (our household help) and edong (our trusted driver). my parents aren't here (my dad left the day before to be with my mom) and my brother had work that night.

because it's a new year, i've decided to have a new look! haha ganun pala yun.

ok eto na:

bye!
