- yehey i ate a lot yesterday!

we had lunch at my tito's house. we do that every christmas because it is the death anniversary of my paternal grandmother. yes, she died on christmas day some 11 years ago. may she rest in peace.

ang bigat talaga sa tiyan ng japanese food. we had dinner at rai rai ken in galleria. we didn't go to church anymore since we already heard mass on christmas eve.

- yehey i have a new layout!

okay. don't laugh. i know it looks hideous and ridiculous but i'm proud to say that i was the only one who made this. i just patterned it after my original layout.

as i've said before, my background would be a collage of pictures. i'm sorry if you can't see all of them since some photos were overlapped by my entry.

i'm sorry too, if you can't see the text from my previous posts. see, i used light font colors so you would see them in my previous layout which had a dark background. now, since my background is light, you won't be able to see all of them. they are past entries anyway so who care right?

a new year is fast approaching so that means a new layout! haha ganun pala yun.

- yehey 2006 is coming!

thank you God for everything - good or bad - that happened in 2005. i learned a lot of things. thank you Lord for all the blessings and the trials. thank you God for 2005.

a new year means a new me and a new you! yes, let us all change for the better.

i watched mr. and mrs. smith and herbie: fully loaded only yesterday and the other night, respectively. i know i'm so late but who cares.

i looooved mr. and mrs. smith. and i so love brad and angelina. they look really good together. kinikilig ako sa kanila. i hope they get married and stay together forever. :)

herbie fully: loaded was all right. i liked lindsay's shirts. simple. and oh, her shades! wow i like.

i finally finished "the notebook" by nicholas sparks. i started reading it during the sembreak but i wasn't able to finish. i only finished now because of the gazillion schoolwork we had to do.

i loved it. naiyak nga ako eh. haha. i hope every one of us will find that kind of love - true, unconditional love that will stay forever.

now, since i haven't bought "catcher in the rye" yet, i am reading "sabrina the teenage witch."

a variety of topics

i'm so glad exam week is now over.. and i survived it! at least i think i have... for now, when the test results haven't been given out yet. when i see my scores.. yikes!

grabe halos wala akong naaral ng matino.. economics lang yata. yung iba.. while studying, nakakatulog ako.

anyway, forget about school. well, not really. kasi naman kahit vacation we still have to do those projects and read books (for filipino and english).

basta for now, all i want to think about is christmas, shopping, clothes, shoes, food, internet, music, tv, food, food, and more food! this is the good life! haha akala.

i'm hooked on eraserheads songs these days. i loooove them! i wish and i hope that they would get back together and create those beautiful songs again.

i read in the newspaper that they were dubbed "beatles of the philippines." that's how popular they were and i think they are still that popular even after they've disbanded. there's this new album made as a tribute to them. there were artists chosen to give their own rendition of their favorite e-heads song.

by the way, i forgot to mention this in my other entry although i assume all of you know by now. this is something very important to me so i have to allot space for this: i lost my mirror. huhuhu. :c

yes. that pink, round, super strong mirror that has been with me since i was in grade 5. i've searched everywhere to find it. but to no avail.

omg i'm so baliw. pero promise nalungkot talaga ko nung nawala yun.

but thanks to my very caring sister, i have a new mirror now! after using the mirror of her face powder (see people, i don't use that powder or any powder for that matter. it's not even mine), i now have a mirror of my own - again! yehey! my sister bought it for me cause i was moaning about my lost mirror to my siblings before. haha hanggang sa bahay mirror pa rin ang sinasabi. i'm so crazy. haha.

i'm so excited for the fair! i've been waiting for it since the start of the school year. i was actually expecting it to be held last october, just like last year, so when i learned that we will have the sportsfest instead of the fair that month, i kinda felt sad. pero happy na rin cause we won't have subjects. haha.

i'm also excited about the upcoming australian open that will be held also in january. yehey! tennis marathon on tv once again. i just hope that nadal will be able to play. i read that he has an injury - on his foot i think. naku sana gumaling na siya.

diana's treat made me remember our research project. i enjoyed tallying! haha. kahit paulit-ulit, fun siya, and the pasting of the survey. basta i enjoyed it far more than i enjoy doing our a&d project. actually, that a&d thing is not fun in any way. hmp..

okay. remove all negative energy. it's christmas! we should all be happy!

haha. i forgot to put mention some things in my previous entry kasi eh.

>>> nakar, quezon outreach

wow. what an experience! truly one-of-a-kind. i am so happy i joined kahit na sumakit yung ulo ko nung pauwi na. super unforgettable adventure siya.

some highlights of that event:

- we rode a jeepney to go to the community where we would be doing our outreach activity. what's so exciting about that, you say?

fyi, it's not like other jeeps in the metro. it's a super strong and super galing jeep with a super galing driver and super galing and super tapang na guy riders. nakaya niyang makaalis dun sa napakalalim na mud and nag-cross pa kami ng river and mountain! oh ang galing noh?

sobrang muddy kasi yung road tapos dumudulas yung wheels. one time pa nga dumulas tapos ang katabi namin bangin! nakakatakot pero fun! haha. ang galing nung tools nila para hilahin yung jeep.

kaya lang, sumakit yung ulo ko dahil sa usok nung jeep pag tinatry niyang umalis sa mud. but it's all good.

- we prayed real hard when we were stuck in the mud and it started raining. the other manongs there tried to get the jeep out of the mud for more than 30 minutes.

truly, praying makes you feel secured. :) thank you God for helping and guiding us and for letting us reach our homes safely. :)

- helping in the packing of the school supplies. actually, i originally wanted to pack the rice, but sister had already asked the help of some mothers there in packing so i just started packing the school supplies. it was tiring but so much fun!

miss was right. ang gaganda nga ng mga dinonate na supplies ng mga first year. bagong bago pa nga yung iba dun.

- my conversation with some of the kids. yung iba nahihiya pero yung iba naman sumasagot talaga.

i really had a fun time talking with jonalyn and danica. pero si jonalyn talaga yung kausap ko ng matagal. may picture pa nga kami eh. she even helped me plant my tree and i asked her to take care of it for me. :)

alam niyo mga tinanong ko sa kanilang dalawa? about gma, erap, lacson, judy ann, jolina, kris aquino, etc. haha! showbiz and politics!

- funny incident: there was this person who was fair-skinned and has a short hair, parang pang-lalaki. eh di sabi ko naman kina queen and marz pwede mag-artista. sabi pa nilang dalawa may itsura daw. we all thought lalaki yung person na yun.

when i asked jonalyn who her crush is in their neighborhood or in showbiz, she said she has none. tinanong ko kung crush niya yung person na yun na fair-skinned and short-haired. bigla niyang sinabi: "hindi po lalaki yun." sobrang nagulat naman ako. sabi ko: "ano? hindi lalaki? bakla?" she said no. i said: "eh ano?" you know what she said?

"babae po yun."

grabe gulat na gulat ako. so i shared it with queen, marz and vicky and all of us had the same reaction. super shocked.

- tree-planting

ang cute kasi tinulungan pa ko ni jonalyn na iplant yung tree ko. we even have a picture with the tree! pero it's still with queen, kaya queen, pa-send. :)

- picture-taking by the river. wala lang. ang cute. :)

- queen's cakes (tama ba?) stopover. ang sarap ng food dun. ang mura pa. sana merong ganun dito sa manila. haha.

nakakainis talaga naubos na yung merengue (spelling?). ang sarap pa naman. haha. hanggang ngayon yun pa rin yung iniisip.

- brother mario. the pinoy with the long nose. haha. siya nagsabi niyan ha! he is actually dutch but he's been in the country for 30 years. ang cute niya! marunong pa siya mag-Filipino.

he even invited us for merienda before we go home (we went there kasi before going to the community) pero sayang, no time na nung hapon.

- curvy mountainside. nakakahilo grabe! hindi ako makatulog ng maayos kasi nakakahilo. papunta pa lang medyo nahilo na ko. lalong sumakit yung ulo ko nung pauwi.

after almost 2 months (ang bilis!) of not updating, here i am again. did you miss me?

where to start, where to start? ang dami na kasing lumipas na happenings eh!

i loved it! best retreat in high school! i especially liked the confession part (gosh! i never knew some things were considered sins. ang dami ko tuloy nasulat! haha) and the candle-sharing (nakaka-iyak talaga. i guess it's because it was our last retreat and last year na natin).

i love the place! super sarap ng hangin and ang ganda ng surroundings. there were birds chirping in the morning. and the huts were soo cool.

the games were fun especially the volleyball games. although we didn't have anything to do after the games and since it was raining, sept had fun in our own way. we played pictionary (during lunch when the classrooms were open) and took pictures!

- thanks to frosty for re-introducing me to arcade. grabe it is so much fun to be there and play! i wanna go back! i especially love playing basketball and the car racing. i also love those kiddie arcade games like the bowling and yung pupukpukin mo yung mga lumalabas na heads ng whatever.

- ang cute talaga ni ron of harry potter! yung mga expressions niya ang cute! super bagay sila ni hermione (though bagay din si hermione and harry)
