sun, sea, sand, school and semis - not!

aloha!

like i what said in my previous entry.. this will be about our outing 3 sundays ago..

we went to puerto azul in cavite. we stayed at the caysubic beach. we had a beachfront cottage so it was supah cool! the beach was just a few steps away and the breeze.. wow! sarap matulog. caysubic didn’t have a swimming pool. we still had to ride a shuttle to go to the puerto azul country club cause the swimming pool was there.

we were there on a weekend. the good thing is that saturday, an acoustic band was set to play during dinnertime.

the staff had set up a mini-restaurant by the beach. and there was a small stage/platform for the band. nice!



early the next morning, my brother and i went to the beach to play badminton. sarap maglaro!

after breakfast, went to the beach to swim.



i was the one who stayed under the sun the longest. there was even a time when i was all alone swimming in the beach. the result?

before going home, we went to eastwood first while waiting for my brother have a haircut. afterwards, we heard mass at Christ the King.

haayy.. i want to go back! it was fun and so relaxing. :)

faaaast forward

last saturday, my sister and i first went to galleria where she bought some clothes. then we went to megamall where we bought all our school needs. i saw batch mates in both malls.

hay naku.. we wasted an hour in megamall because of that stupid promo whatever.. hmp..

sunday morning, my family decided to have an eat-all-you-can breakfast at cravings in katipunan. sarap! after eating, we went to edsa shrine to hear mass. after the mass, we went to galleria to buy some stuff.

all right. so obviously, i wasn’t able to watch the game between harbour center and granny goose last saturday right? so i didn’t know whether harbour was included in the semis or not.

i wanted to check the pbl site but my brother wouldn’t let me use the computer. i only found out sunday morning – after i read the papers.

pagkita kong talo, parang ako.. noooo!!! hindi pwede!!! sila pa yung na-out??? nakakinis naman yung granny goose eh!! grr!! haha. galit na galit na pala.

buti na lang hindi ko napanood dahil naku.. ano na naman kaya ang itsura ng mga players? siguro nakatulala na naman.. :(

char, ang supposedly last nood mo for the week nung tuesday eh naging last nood na pala natin for this conference. :( buti na lang may pic na ko with mac! haha. :)

anyway, sayang my sister and i weren't able to watch ashanti's concert.. pero ok lang..

aight.. so i told y’all in my previous entry that my next entry will be about our trip to the beach right?

but a lot of things happened in the past two weeks that i can’t wait to share with y’all. so that beach stuff will be postponed.. again. :)

last wednesday

i went to school to pass my up application form. i saw lots of our batchmates. please lord, help me pass in up, please.. :)

last thursday

went to the lsgh gym.. finally! haha. went there with char, diana and queen.

we got there super early. as we were walking towards the entrance, a green car passed by. my eyes were clear that time (i wasn’t wearing my eyeglasses) and what do you know? marvin was inside the car! i screamed at char in excitement and surprise.

the guards said we can’t enter until 1 pm. so we sat there and all the players passed by us – including marvin! aaaahhh! sayang nga cause they were bacchus and granny goose players and not harbour players. haha. yun daw pala yung gusto...

char and i got excited because miss mortel told us – actually, she only told char but of course, char told me to go with her – to go talk to marvin.

when we got inside the gym, diana and i left char for a while to go to the washroom. diana was walking ahead of me but i saw the sign for women so i called her. the first time i called her, she wasn’t able to hear me cause the music was loud. when i called her the second time, i raised my voice. nung nilakasan ko yung voice ko, eksakto naman na tumigil yung music so talagang sobrang lakas ng boses ko. haha. laughtrip talaga.

our washroom adventure didn’t end there.

si diana tuloy-tuloy ang pagpasok dun sa may sign for women. there were 2 doors: one was opened and the other was closed. so siyempre dun siya sa open door pumasok. tapos bigla siyang lumabas sabi niya ayaw daw niya dun. i thought she didn't want to use that washroom cause it was dirty. pag labas niya.. may kasunod siyang half-naked player! haha. it was the dugout of bacchus pala. the closed door is the washroom for women.

after a few minutes, diana and i left char again to go to the canteen. the canteen below the gym was being renovated so we asked the guard if there was another canteen because we were sooo thirsty. he said there was no other canteen and a man there suggested that we go to 7-11 – outside la salle!

we decided to “explore” la salle first and fortunately, we saw a sign that said there was another canteen. we went there and it was open. haay.. yung guard hindi pa alam na may isa pang canteen dun..

on our way back to the gym, we saw espinas and la on their way to the gym. we walked real fast to keep up with them. but they were far ahead of us. the good thing is that all the harbour players passed by us on their way to their seats.

1st game

it was granny goose vs. bacchus. i was checking marvin and bj manalo out. haha. :)

granny goose won. :)

after the 1st game, we waited for marvin cause miss mortel wanted to talk with him. he came out of the dugout in a hurry. so char had to run after him to give her cellphone cause miss mortel was waiting in the other line. at first, marvin didn’t know who it was. but he recognized her afterwards. after they hung up, marvin gave the fone back to char and said thank you. aaaahhh! cute!! :)

2nd game

it was a game between harbour centre and montana.

montana had a big lead in the first half. i even heard mac tell his teammates that they’d make up for it in the second half. and they did! they tied the score in the 3rd quarter. but they weren’t able to lead at any point in the game.

in the last minutes of the 4th quarter, the players all looked sad. as in yung iba nakaupo lang magisa sa isang tabi at nakatulala.

harbour lost. bummer!!

last saturday

i had a haircut!! my hair ain’t that long no more..

last sunday

it was the first time after a long while that my family went to mass in the morning. we heard mass at edsa shrine. after the mass, we went to galleria. frost already bought his school shoes. i was also supposed to buy that day but they didn't have my size.

last tuesday

met up with char, diana and queen in galleria though it was only char, queen and me who watched the game.

we ate for a while then went to the pasig sports center.

1st game

toyota-otis letran vs. magnolia

we weren’t really watching the game. we were just talking and checking the harbour players out. haha. they were standing near us kasi.

the girl beside me asked la if she could take a picture of him. so he posed and he was smiling! cute! char told me to do the same thing. but i just can’t. i’m too shy. :)

the harbour players were just standing near their dugout while watching the 1st game. la wanted to sit so he sat at the magnolia bench! haha. pero hindi naman yung sobrang umupo ng matagal. yung parang umupo lang tapos tumayo ulit. basta.. tapos parang natawa siya. cute! :)

and then there was a time when he sat on the table. haha.

the girl beside me asked mac for a picture. and his pose was soo angas! as in! killer pose!!! again, char asked me to ask mac for a picture but i just can’t do it. I didn’t have the guts. sobrang hindi ko kayang gawin yun.

there was also a time when char saw sanz and espinas dancing. sayang nga i wasn’t able to see them do it..

during halftime, queen and i went to mercury to buy food. as we were entering pasig sports, the guard told us to use the next door. as queen was talking with him, we saw mac go inside the dugout. sayang hindi namin siya naabutan na nanonood ng game! kasi naman yung guard eh! haha.

2nd game!

welcoat vs. harbour center

it was a super close game. super unpredictable. harbour was going to win na but no! that washington guy was able to shoot the ball and force the game into overtime. grrr!!!

grabe sanz was soo cute. para talaga siyang bata.. di ba char? kung ano ano ginagawa niya. haha.

and psychic char was able to predict that harbour would lose. and they actually did! bummer - again! haaayy..

but it’s all right. harbour only has to beat granny goose once to secure a slot in the semifinals. sana naman they’d win na!!

after the game, cardona was wearing a la salle jersey. aaahhh!! there were people who asked for his autograph.. eh he was holding his rubber shoes. how can he sign if he was holding something di ba? so you know what he did? he put it under his arm! haha. cute!!!

queen had her picture taken with luanzon. eh di nakapose na sila. tapos there was this tall guy - actually siya yung katabi ko.. eh ano naman? haha.. - who stopped right in front of them cause he was speaking with someone. haha. hindi pa siya umaalis, dumaan naman si gaco tapos tumigil sandali. i think napansin niya na nakaharang siya sa camera so umalis siya tapos sabi: “ay sorry.” bait!! haha. :)

the gates of pasig sports were already locked. and queen was outside. la, mags and bugs were in a hurry to leave. they asked the manong to open the gate. so sumunod na lang kami para makalabas na rin kami.

that was a fun day. though they lost, there were lots of happy moments. haha. :)

i was supposed to post this yesterday. i wanted to put pictures sana but my image host isn't working - again! grr!!

so since there was a game a while ago, i'll just talk about it here. yes.. kala serious discussion. haha.

when i opened the tv, the game has already started. pero 1st quarter pa lang. and i was surprised to see that granny goose was leading - by 10 points! 28-18. so nainis na lang ako. kala ko pa naman it will be an easy game for harbour - not that i'm saying na madali kalaban ang granny goose.

and then i saw la guarding marvin and vice versa. parang natuwa ako. haha. kasi i didn't expect them to be guarding each other. i never thought of marvin as a pointguard. although they are of the same height, hindi ko naisip na pointguard din ang position niya.

and char, di ba i told you last tuesday na if ever may game ang harbour today sa pasig sports, baka hindi ako manood ng live kasi parang nakakatamad? i take that back. kasi feeling ko ang saya manood eh. especially because marvin and la are on the court at the same time. ang saya!! :)

tapos ito pa.. la was having a hard time shooting! ang dami niyang tries but most of them wouldn't go in. even the commentators were saying na he's playing a bad game. pero at least he somehow redeemed himself in the last 2 minutes of the 4th quarter when he shot the ball and it went in. as one of the anchormen said: "you could have the worst 38 mins. and make up for it in the last 2." yes. memorize pa daw. haha.

and i think it was the 1st time that i saw marvin make a 3-pt. shot. galing!

nakakainis pa cause they lost! 2 points na lang!!! isang shoot lang yun ng bola. or 2 free throws. sayang! naku naku.. like what i said earlier, sana naman they'd win na!!! sana lang..

i wasn't really watching the game cause i was watching the american idol finale on star world. i wanted to watch it sana kaninang umaga pero nung nag-alarm ako inaantok pa ko. kaya hindi ko na napanood. good thing may replay..

when i woke up, i was really anxious to find out who won. i was soo rooting for bo bice. ang galing niya eh! cute pa! haha. then my dad said that carrie won daw. he saw it in the news.

so sobrang nainis na lang ako. pero i was still hoping na joke lang ng daddy ko yun. so i watched the replay.

haha. nakakatawa yung isang segment dun about simon. randy was rapping! nakakatawa yung itsura niya!

when it was time for ryan to announce the winner, i was still hoping for bo to win. but no. it was really carrie who won. :( magaling naman siya pero mas gusto ko talaga si bo.

actually, i wanted bo and vonzell to be the final two. so i got a little disappointed when she got eliminated but at least bo is in the finals.

anyway, it's my dad's birthday tomorrow. :)

i haven’t updated for sooo looooong!

anyway.. here’s a little recap of what’s been happening in my life the past week..

2 sundays ago

belated happy mother’s day to my mommy!

heard mass at Christ the King then went to megamall and ate at cabalen.

last wednesday

went with my sister to her office in makati so she could complete her clearance. after, we went to greenbelt then to glorietta. we did some shopping for our beach outing then we watched the amityville horror. it’s not super scary..

last thursday

went to the pasig sports center to watch pbl. hay naku.. adventure pa ko bago nakarating sa seat ko with aira, erix and her companion. haha. nakakatawa yung mga dinaanan ko.

1st game was between nenaco san beda and magnolia. i wasn’t really watching cause i don’t like the teams playing. just talked with aira and queen and then during halftime, went to the seats on the other side so char and i could be behind the harbour bench for the 2nd game.

char came and we just talked.. not really watching the game.

2nd game!

grabe! great game! though harbour was leading the whole 2nd-4th quarter, and it was kinda obvious that they would win, it was super action-filled! as in there was so much tension between the 2 teams. of course, harbour won! :)

and mac got injured! twice! toyota resorted to violence na.. haha. joke.

best scenes:

- la had 4 or 5 3-point shots! grabe galing! he was on fire that day!
- mac and la sitting next to each other.. well.. almost.. there was an empty chair between them. if i know.. they were waiting for me to sit there! haha. feeling! just kidding.. :) kung pwede lang uupo ako dun eh!
- la and mac talking with each other!! aaaahhhh!! naku nung nakita ko talaga yun.. sobra ang kakiligan at katuwaan ko!!! aaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh!!!! :)
- a fight almost happened! ganda ng scene na to! haha. natuwa pa daw.. and sanz was in fighting form! he was soo ready to fight!
- mac throwing his bloodied headband to his fans. sana sakin na lang! kahit duguan na yun ok lang! haha.
- after the game, there were some people having their picture taken with la. and guess what? his shirt was only half on! ang cute pa nung position niya habang nagpapapicture. one arm was over the shoulder of the person and the other was holding his shirt. i wanted to have a picture with him but i was shy. :)

we also saw sanz and magnum go out of the dugout without a shirt on. and char! wahaha.. the incident with espinas.. nakakahiya at nakakatawa!! haha. nakakatawa talaga yung itsura mo!!

last saturday and sunday

went to puerto azul for an overnight stay with my family.

last thursday

i went to pasig sports center to watch pbl with char. actually, queen, aira, erix and others were also there. but i was with charchar the whole time because the others were seated at the other side of the court.

the 1st game was between granny goose kornets and toyota-otis letran. char and i weren't really watching the game because we didn't like the teams playing. we came there for the 2nd game! haha. and we were watching the harbour players watch the game! haha. they were standing near their dugout cause there weren't any vacant seats left. i saw mac cardona wearing a cap!!! cute!

we (or was it just me?) were complaining about a lot of things like:
- it was hot! there were aircons but then there were also a lot of people so baka hindi kaya ng mga aircon or maybe because it's summer..
- the smell man! halo-halo! may amoy ipis, amoy isda at amoy pawis.. well, you didn't really have to know that.. i just wanted to let your know the smell. hehe.
- ang tagal matapos ng game!

2nd half came and we noticed a cute player from the granny goose team - marvin cruz. he isn't really that tall but he is cute. :)

at first, i didn't really care who wins but after seeing marvin (yes close), we started cheering for granny goose! haha. too bad they lost. :( pero ang galing nila ha. in their game against montana i think last satuday, they won! first defeat for montana!! haha. natuwa pa daw eh.

oh yeah. there was an incident last thursday involving some granny goose fans. a group of fans were almost thrown out of the pasig sports center! kasi hindi mapigilan ang bibig eh! sorry. sama ko. kidding. :)

2nd game!

welcoat vs. harbour centre. harbour was leading until the last few minutes of the 3rd quarter. but they kept on fouling good free throw shooters and, as their coach said, they were relaxing, so welcoat was able to catch up and eventually win the game.. hmp..

after the game, met up with the others to talk. i gave my surprise, which i've kept for almost a month, to queen.

i waited a while after the game but i wasn't able to wait for the players anymore cause i had to go home already. sayang!

last saturday night.. err.. early sunday morning

frost and i watched the 50 cent house party on mtv. his house was soo big! and man! the party was dope! he performed with olivia and of course, g unit. super angas ni 50 cent!!!

his guests varied from fellow artists to his neighbors! swerte nung neighbors niya ha!

we have 50's new album: the massacre. ate and frost are saying that his album is good. almost, if not all, the songs are good. i haven't really listened to the whole album. but from the songs i've listened to so far, they are good indeed.

last sunday

kuya, ate, kuya's friend and i heard mass at the st. joseph church in greenhills. after, we went to galleria. we ate at mangan then went to see the last full show of xxx:the next level. good movie. great action scenes and the songs! cool! go watch it! :)
